Strategic Partnership for Kenya’s Mining Industry

The National Mining Corporation (NAMICO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hunan Zhiming Trade Company Limited. The agreement was signed by the C.E.O. of NAMICO Mr. Thomas Mutwiwa and Madam Chen Zuxia of Hunan Zhiming Trade Company Limited to pave way for major investments across Kenya’s mining industry. The signing was also witnessed by NAMICO Board Chairman Hon. Joseph Lagat.

This is in the process of preparation for the Hunan Zhiming Trade Company to assemble a consortium of investors who have interest in Manganese, Copper, Zinc, gold and lead.

We believe that this will be a great milestone in developing the mining sector in the Country and we are all excited about the new development. NAMICO will cooperate fully with the investor in order to ensure success to the investment vision and will provide all the necessary support.

Again the Corporation is committed to ensuring responsible mining practices as the cooperation between Hunan Zhiming Trade Company Limited and National Mining Corporation promises a win-win opportunity for both parties.
